Day 0 – Departure from Delhi | Overnight Journey
Delhi to Shimla
- Assemble at Majnu Ka Tila / Vidhan Sabha Metro Station in the evening.
- Meet your fellow travellers and board the AC Volvo to Shimla.
Day 1 – Shimla to Fagu | Christmas Evening
Shimla – Fagu (approx. 20 km)
- Arrive in Shimla and transfer to your stay in Fagu, set among snowy pine forests.
- Rest, and take a short walk if the weather allows.
- Evening: Enjoy a Christmas dinner with the group.
Day 2 – Fagu to Sangla | Enter Kinnaur
Fagu – Narkanda – Rampur – Kinnaur Gate – Sangla (approx. 230 km)
- Board your shared 4×4 and drive along the Sutlej to the Kinnaur Gate.
- Reach Sangla (2,621 m) and check in for 2 nights.
Day 3 – Rakcham & Chitkul Excursion
Sangla – Rakcham – Chitkul – Sangla
- Visit Rakcham and Chitkul (3,450 m), the last village of the Baspa Valley (subject to road access).
- Return to Sangla for dinner.
Day 4 – Sangla to Tabo | Ka Loops & Nako
Sangla – Khab – Ka Loops – Nako – Tabo (approx. 200 km)
- See the Spiti–Sutlej confluence at Khab and drive up the famous Ka Loops.
- Stop at Nako village and lake (if daylight allows).
- Enter Spiti via Sumdo and reach Tabo (3,280 m).
Day 5 – Tabo Monastery | Dhankar | Kaza
Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza (approx. 75 km)
- Visit the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery.
- See the cliff-top Dhankar Monastery (if the road is open).
- Check in at Kaza (3,800 m) for 3 nights and keep the afternoon easy.
Day 6 – Key Monastery, Kibber & Chicham Bridge
Kaza – Key – Kibber – Chicham – Kaza
- Visit Key Monastery (4,166 m), the largest monastery in Spiti.
- Explore Kibber village and Chicham Bridge, one of Asia’s highest bridges.
- Return to Kaza for dinner.
Day 7 – Langza, Komic & Hikkim | New Year's Eve in Kaza
Kaza – Langza – Komic – Hikkim – Kaza
- See the Langza Buddha statue and fossil village.
- Visit Komic (4,587 m) and Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office. Send a New Year postcard.
Evening: Join the New Year’s Eve dinner, group photo and midnight countdown to 2027
Day 8 – Kaza to Kalpa
Kaza – Tabo – Nako – Reckong Peo – Kalpa (approx. 190 km)
- Start 2027 with breakfast in Kaza, then drive back into Kinnaur.
- Stay overnight in Kalpa (2,759 m) below Kinner Kailash.
Day 9 – Kalpa to Shimla | Overnight Journey to Delhi
Kalpa – Rampur – Narkanda – Shimla
- Enjoy morning views of Kinner Kailash, then drive to Shimla.
- Have dinner (self-paid) and board the overnight Volvo to Delhi.
Day 10 – Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi in the morning after an epic Christmas and New Year in the Himalayas.
