Day 0 – Departure from Delhi | Overnight Journey
Delhi to Shimla
- Assemble at Majnu Ka Tila / Vidhan Sabha Metro Station in the evening.
- Meet your trip captain and fellow travellers and board the AC Volvo to Shimla.
Enjoy road trip vibes and bonding sessions on the way to the mountains.
Day 1 – Shimla to Sangla | Kinnaur Gate & Baspa Valley
Shimla – Narkanda – Rampur – Kinnaur Gate – Sangla
- Reach Shimla early morning, freshen up and have breakfast (self-paid).
- Drive through Kufri, Theog and Narkanda, then along the Sutlej River to Rampur.
- Stop for photos at the famous Kinnaur Gate.
- Climb into the Baspa Valley and reach Sangla (2,621 m) by evening.
- Warm up with chai, enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Sangla.
Day 2 – Rakcham & Chitkul Excursion | Sangla
Sangla – Rakcham – Chitkul – Batseri – Sangla
- After breakfast, drive along the Baspa River to Rakcham.
- Continue to Chitkul (3,450 m), the last village on the Indo-Tibet road (subject to road and snow conditions).
- Explore the wooden village, the temple and the frozen riverside.
- Optional: Walk through Batseri village on the way back.
- Return to Sangla for dinner and a cozy evening.
Day 3 – Sangla to Kalpa | New Year's Eve Celebration
Sangla – Karcham – Reckong Peo – Kalpa
- After breakfast, drive to Kalpa (2,759 m).
- Check in and enjoy Kinner Kailash views and a short village walk.
- Evening: Join the New Year’s Eve celebration with dinner, music and the midnight countdown to 2027.
- Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 4 – New Year Morning in Kalpa | Return to Shimla
Kalpa – Rampur – Narkanda – Shimla | Overnight Journey to Delhi
- Watch the first sunrise of 2027 over Kinner Kailash.
- Optional: Visit Old Kalpa (Chini village), the Narayan Nagini Temple and the Kalpa Monastery.
- After breakfast, drive back to Shimla, have dinner (self-paid) and board the overnight Volvo to Delhi.
Day 5 – Arrival in Delhi
